Are you having difficulty using a computer?

We offer help and advice on software and hardware, which has been adapted or is adaptible for disabled people. Those who could benefit include visual difficulties, physical difficulties, MS and dyslexia.
A standard computer with standard setting does not suit everyone.

Maybe some alternative technology could help!

Some of our staff and volunteers in the project will be able to show you how to set-up you PC to meet you needs.

We also have a collection of hardware and software, which you could try out yourself at the project to see if we can advise you how your PC could be set-up and easier for you to use.

  • Larger print letters to make the keyboard clearer

  • Trackballs that allow you to move the pointer more accurately

  • Software that will read out information on screen

If you or someone you know does find using a computer hard, or you would just like to find out more about the equipment, then please to contact us to arrange an appointment.
